U.S. opens camp at Princeton

The U.S. team opened up training camp today at Princeton University, coach Bob Bradley's alma mater.

I don't think the earth shook or time stood still but I'm cautiously optimistic that the U.S. can at least advance out of the Group stage if for no other reason than that they seem to do well every other World Cup in recent history. Call me a dreamer.

The main storyline, that I'm already sick of, seems to be all the assorted injuries for the Americans. By this point, it should be a non-story since we know who's banged up and who won't be coming to South Africa. Next.
