Line-ups are in

For the U.S. the starting 11 looks like this:

Defense from right to left: , Steve Cherundolo (captain), Clarence Goodson, Oguchi Onyewu, Jonathan Bornstein
Midfield from right to left: Stuart Holden, Jose Torres, Maurice Edu, DaMarcus Beasley
Forward: Eddie Johnson and Edson Buddle

subs: defense - Jonathan Spector, Heath Pearce, Chad Marshall; midfield - Ricardo Clark, Sacha Klestan, Robbie Roggers, Alejandro Bedoya; forwards - Brian Ching, Robbie Findley, Herculez Gomez; goalie - Marcus Hahnemann

For the Czech Republic the starting 11 looks like this:
Goalie: Peter Cech
Defense: Ondrej Kusnir, Jan Rajnoch, Tomas Sivok
Midfield: Libor Sionko, Jan Polak, Daniel Pudil, Jaroslav Plasil, Tomas Hubschman
Forwards: Martin Fenin and David Lafata

subs: defense - David Limbersky; midfield - Milan Cerny, Mario Holek, Rudolf Skacel, Jan Morvavek, Jaroslav Cerny; forwards - Tomas Necid, Tomas Pekhart; goalies - Jan Lastuvka, Michal Danek

I love the line-up the U.S. is going with. This if finally the opportunity for Eddie Johnson to show his true colors. Too often in the past he has tried to coast on ability and against better competition he looks like a fraud because he has failed to live up to his first year with the national team when he scored five goals in 10 games. So I will be intently watching his performance.

I am also very keen to see how Buddle produces in only his second ever cap for the senior squad.

Torres, Goodson, Edu, and Beasley are also all on the bubble and it will be see how they perform against a World Cup quality side.
