Who will it be for Ivory Coast?

Time is running out but the Ivory Coast is taking its sweet time to name a head coach for the 2010 World Cup.

After dismissing Vahid Halilhodzic last month, rumors have pointed to the Elephants picking up former Dutch and current Turkish boss Guus Hiddink. Ivory Coast's best player, Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is quite familiar with Big Guus after he managed Chelsea in 2009 and he's already sung the praises of his former manager.

However, the latest speculation has former Japan head coach Philippe Troussier as another likely candidate. At the moment, he's the GM for FC Ryukyu, a Japanese club.

He led the Blue Samurai to the second round of the 2002 World Cup and he's been called the "White Witch Doctor" (probably my new favorite nickname) after productive stints in Africa with Bafana Bafana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast, among other teams.

Troussier last coached the Ivory Coast in 1993.
