For my money, Chelsea and Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba is one of the most entertaining soccer players in the world.
Today, Drogba was named the African player of the year, an honor he also received in 2006. He beat out Chelsea teammate Michael Essien (Ghana) and Samuel Eto'o (Cameroon).
He's not the most talented player in the world (although he's one of the best goal scorers) and he is a crybaby and he flops a ton (which is very annoying) but you can't look away from him. He's always doing something. Not to mention his hairstyle is constantly changing.
I'm a loyal Chelsea fan so my bias is obvious but when I think of Drogba, he is the total package: great player, loads of personality and he always shows up in the biggest matches.
