The center defense of the U.S. looks great with DeMerit and Bocanegra along with Bradley forming a great triangle shutting the Netherlands down. The U.S. is applying similar tactics to that of the Spain game from last summer. The problem is they don't have the counter-attacking abilities minus Clint Dempsey and Charlie Davies. Robbie Findley does not have the strength to hold off defenders and looks tentative. Altidore has played well but has not received much support.
