There is none better right now

I had a conversation with my friend Austin over the weekend about the recent ESPN top 50 players in the world, and he tried to convince me Messi is still ahead of Rooney. I just don't see it right now. The guy is killing it.

He just scored for Man U in the 13th minute on a terrific cross into the box by Gary Neville, which he deposited precisely in the lower left corner, his seventh straight header goal. The goal was his 35th of the season in all competitions, unreal, and also answered any questions about how bulky his knee injury actually was that threatened to hold him out for the game after last week's England friendly - I guess the guy is pretty pretty good.

Now Man U lead AC Milan 4-2 on aggregate and Milan will have to score 3 goals to have a shot at moving on.
