1-0 Brazil at halftime

Maicon with a good shot forcing a save by Stekelenburg (that was incorrectly ruled a goal kick). The Dutch goalkeeper was a lifesaver with his stop on Kaka, otherwise it would be 2-0 and game over for Brazil.

It's halftime with Brazil leading 1-0 and frankly other than the one save by Cesar, Brazil has been the much more dominant team. Robben has had a couple chances but he can't even get a shot off before he's swarmed by a bunch of Brazilian defenders. It doesn't help that he doesn't have a right foot as far as anyone knows. He needs to be stronger on his feet too, he goes down way too easily and whines for calls.

Halftime stats:

Netherlands Brazil
4(2) Shots (on Goal) 7(3)
9 Fouls 9
2 Corner Kicks 3
1 Offsides 2
45% Time of Possession 55%
1 Yellow Cards 1
0 Red Cards 0
2 Saves 2
