Mueller clinches young player of the 2010 World Cup
In the 18th minute, Schweinsteiger started off the goal sequence with a long blast from outside the box that swerved, forcing Muslera to knock it down right in front of him.
Mueller was first to the ball while a Uruguayan defender appealed for an offsides for some reason and he netted his fifth goal of the 2010 World Cup.
Shimer alluded to it before but you have to wonder how Germany would have done against Spain with Mueller. Not to mention how bogus the card that kept him out looked to be.
1-0 Germany in the 22nd minute.
