25 in a row for Dutch

It got dicey at the end but the Dutch held on for a 3-2 win over Uruguay. Netherlands goes to the final on Sunday (2:30 p.m.) against the winner of Germany/Spain tomorrow while Uruguay plays the loser on Saturday (2:30 p.m.) in the third-place game.

Final stats:

Uruguay Netherlands
13(6) Shots (on Goal) 12(7)
15 Fouls 16
4 Corner Kicks 5
4 Offsides 5
44% Time of Possession 56%
2 Yellow Cards 3
0 Red Cards 0
4 Saves 4

Very tough one to swallow for Uruguay. They can only imagine what could have happened if the second goal by Netherlands didn't count or if they hadn't taken Forlan out when they were down by two goals and seemingly cooked.
