This will get better

We're scoreless at half and that is what this match deserves so far. Neither team has really taken the game by the scruf of the neck as announcers love to say.

Halftime stats:
Germany Spain
1(1) Shots (on Goal) 8(2)
3 Fouls 2
4 Corner Kicks 3
2 Offsides 1
38% Time of Possession 62%
0 Yellow Cards 0
0 Red Cards 0
2 Saves 1

Muller is really missed by the Germans, who seem a little more clogged up in the midfield and they haven't shown their deadly counterattack yet. For Spain, this is nothing new since they've been 0-0 at halftime in their last two games. Still, as Shimer pointed out in the preview, if Villa doesn't score for them, who will?

Some things to chew on as we wait for Shimer (a German die-hard) to weigh in.
