Part of the reason I believe Messi is so effective is because he plays a great over-lapping game with Dani Alves, the best right back in the world for my money. Alves is causing all kinds of problems on the right flank for Inter, getting in behind the defense and sending in dangerous crosses. None have connected directly but it may be only a matter of time until he finds the killer ball or does the damage himself.
