South Africa down 1-0 at the half and on the ropes

South Africa is trailing 1-0 at the half and they need a spark. Uruguay looks like the dark horse that many predicted (pats self on back) and South Africa is looking like the team that many thought would struggle.

The hosts need to get Pienaar involved more in the attacking third and push everyone else forward. Uruguay has been the much better team so far and they appear to have another goal or two in them for this match.

Halftime stats:
South Africa Uruguay
4(0) Shots (on Goal) 8(2)
6 Fouls 6
2 Corner Kicks 0
0 Offsides 2
54% Time of Possession 46%
2 Yellow Cards 0
0 Red Cards 0
1 Saves 0

African teams only have two goals so far in the tournament and one was on a penalty kick for Ghana. Which African teams will step up and which will fall out of contention?
