Khedira almost scores after great buildup

If you love soccer (which is very likely if you're reading this), you have to appreciate Germany. They are so clinical in their passing and they seemingly do everything right: overlapping runs, constant movement, switch positions.

Lahm crossed to Khedira but his header missed the target.

Soon after, Ozil receives a perfect through ball from Podolski and he goes around Schwarzer but a heavy touch pushed it out of bounds before Ozil could put it in the vacated net.

2-0 Germany in the 44th minute and Australia is on the ropes, just trying to get to halftime down two.
