Fabiano makes it 2-0 Brazil

I had thought of writing earlier how this Brazilian team wasn't of the same unbeatable quality of past ones but that looks silly now that they're up 2-0 on Chile.

After some classic Brazilian passing: Robinho centered it to Kaka who touched it to Luis Fabiano. He dribbled around Bravo and bingo, it was 2-0 Brazil in the 38th minute.

Brazil beat Chile twice in World Cup qualifying and that streak doesn't look to change here.

Fabiano muffs header from close range

Fabiano should have done better as he had a header on a platter as they say. He knodded it off the ground which caused it to bounce wide.

Portuguese midfielder Pepe received a yellow card and now Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo picked up a yellow for just body checking a Portuguese player.

0-0 in the 44th minute.

2-0 Ivory Coast in the 44th minute.

Melo is coming out for midfielder Josue, Dunga doesn't want Melo to pick up another dumb yellow.

Fabiano booked for rough challenge

In the 15th minute, Brazilian midfielder Luis Fabiano picked up a yellow card for a rough challenge.

Kaka is on the bench and not available today for his completely undeserved red card vs. Ivory Coast last Sunday.

0-0 in the 18th minute.
