Franco skies an opener header

In the 15th minute, Mexico had its second corner and should have done more as Guillermo Franco put a header well over and wide of the goal.

The Mexican striker was unmarked so he was understandably upset.

In the 17th minute, South Africa had its first chance but Steven Pienaar put it way over the Mexican goal.
