Klose doesn't miss this time around, 2-0 Germans

In the 26th minute, Lahm crossed to Klose in the middle of the box and he got there before Schwarzer for a header.

2-0 Germany in the 30th minute. This could get real ugly, like a four or five goal win. Germany looks unbelievable.

Lahm makes goal-line stop

Off the first corner kick of the game, to Australia, there was a scramble in front of the German goal and right back Philipp Lahm stopped Australian forward Richard Garcia twice.

It was an anxious moment with German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in position but if either of those shots got through, who knows.

Germany just had a couple of great chances.
