Ladies and Gentleman your goal of the tournament

A glorious counter attack by South Africa as Mphela won the ball in open space and found Steven Pienaar. The Everton man then unlocked the Mexican defense with a glorious ball to Siphiwe Tshabalala.

Flying down the left side of the field Tshabalala hit an absolutely unreal left-footed bomb into the upper right corner to give Bafana Bafana the lead.

And most recently as I have been writing this Dos Santos just hit another good shot on goal that Khune made another great stop on as the shot was heading into the top right corner, but the SA keeper parried it away for a corner.

By the way Martin Tyler just noted Tshabalala is famous for spectacular goals. He won't hit a better one in his life I can tell you that.

Phenomenal way to open the tournament.
