It's all over, Italy got the point as they tied it 1-1 with Paraguay.
Decent game, it took a long time for the Azurri to get moving. Looking further ahead though, Italy will not go very far if they play like this plus who knows how Buffon will be?
In their next matches, Paraguay plays Slovakia at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday and Italy gets New Zealand at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Two easy games they should both win.

Easy? I thought USA was going to be easy and Slovenia and Japan and Paraguay. KitchRich should keep his opinions to himself.
ReplyDeleteI see the Italian goalscorer De Rossi who bloodied our USA's Brian McBride on the forehead leaving a big knot on his head had what has to be a dive around the 10 minute mark.
Please don't go posting your horrible blog around the internet to read to read this biased misinformed and possibly bigotted garbage.

JC,
ReplyDeleteYour comment makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Where is there any bigotry? No where that's it. Italy had a mediocre to poor performance despite controlling possession in the game. They created few opportunities, and Buffon's injury is huge - he's their best player much in the same way Tim Howard is the U.S.'s best player.
KitRitch, how did your "ez" game go with New Zealand??
