Sorry about the lack of posts, it's been a dull first half and I've been eating lunch too while I watch.
However, Paraguay scored in the 38th minute on basically their first chance. Midfielder Aureliano Torres served a free kick from way outside the box to defender Antolin Alcaraz.
He outleaped the Italy defense and headed it into the corner past Buffon, who could only watch it.
1-0 Paraguay in the 43rd minute.
