Muller ices it

With his first international goal, 20-year old Thomas Muller increases the German lead to 3-0 in the 68th minute.
Podolski, who is making a push for man of the match, found him with a nice ball in the middle and Muller completely juked an Australian defender out of his cleats before putting it off the left post and in.

Laser show bro, relax

Well that didn't take long.
After buzzing around the Australian goal with their first few chances, the Germans just struck with a thunderbolt in the eighth minute from German midfielder Lukas Podolksi (his 39th international goal, an amazing tally for such a young player).
Thomas Muller received a perfect through ball (onsides) and pulled it back to Podolski who blasted it with his favored left foot. Australian goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer got a piece of it with his hand but it was going too fast.
German forward Mesut Ozil just received a yellow card in the 12th minute for a clear dive.
1-0 Germany in the 14th minute.
